YOU CAN COMMISSION MIKE TO PAINT YOUR FAVOURITE SPORTS CAR IMAGE E-MAIL: mike@transportartist.co.uk
An image of a painting done some thirty-five years ago for Rosenstiels the well known, (in Britain at least), print makers depicting a Jaguar D Type at Le Mans with a Ferrari in hot pursuit. Probably still available as a print from them.
IF YOU LIKE THIS IMAGE PLEASE DO LEAVE A COMMENT OR VOTE.
COMMISSION A PAINTING FROM MIKE. It is with great regret that I have to inform you that Mike sadly passed away November 2020 aged 81, but I, (his partner) will keep his shop here going and am happy to reply to any emails you might send to his own email address at mike@transportartist.co.uk. Virtually nobody considered the humble lorry worthy of the subject of a painting until Mike made it so. Years of being at the sharp end of long distance HGV driving has given him an insight and knowledge into the industry that enables Mike to depict lorries as they really were in the past and not the idealized view of the less knowledgeable making him the man to paint an original of your favourite commercial vehicle. He is without a doubt THE lorry...

Many thanks Udo for such a supportive comment, I do appreciate honesty.

People like the Johnstons should be more careful about what they say and think twice before making false accusations. Shame on you. The impressive oeuvre of Mr. Jeffries speaks for itself.

D-Type, C-Type, Oh well what the hell, close is good enough.

This entire composition was completely my own work and commissioned by Rosentiels one of the most respected names in the fine art print world who with their name and reputation to protect would never print any work that was not genuine. The painting was made in the early 1980s and is not a copy by any means. If you care to name the magazine I will google and post it but of course it doesn't exist just like your imaginary "paintings" and you know it. You shameful pair have no right to these pages in company with real artists who are honest about their work.
