Eggbeers Transport based in Devon had quite a fleet of AECs of which this fine lorry was an example seen here far from home negotiating a roundabout on the old A38 in Derbyshire. The �Tinfront� was merely a Mammoth Major Mk III with a face lifted cab, mainly the replacement of the old exposed radiator with the style shown here which was based on the AEC Mercury and Regal bus radiator grilles.

It is with great regret that I have to inform you that Mike sadly passed away November 2020 aged 81, but I, (his partner) will keep his shop here going and am happy to reply to any emails you might send to his own email address at mike@transportartist.co.uk.
