The Thornycroft Mighty Antar was the British Army�s main tank transporter tractor in the Cold War years and was in service for well over twenty years.
Seen here with a Centurion recovery tank on its way to the Sennybridge firing ranges sometime in the early sixties at 11ft wide and over 50 ft long with trailer it was quite a handfull on British roads.
