A lorry dear to my heart from my time when I worked as an HGV driver in my youth, the early version of the famous Mickey Mouse cab is seen on the short-wheelbase eight-wheeler chassis with a lightweight tipper body. Seen here with a maximum load of sand of about 17 tons on one of thousands of short haul jobs which was the main work in the lifetime of this magnificent vehicle it was eventually scrapped in the early seventies.
