About Mike Jeffries
COMMISSION A PAINTING FROM MIKE. It is with great regret that I have to inform you that Mike sadly passed away November 2020 aged 81, but I, (his partner) will keep his shop here going and am happy to reply to any emails you might send to his own email address at mike@transportartist.co.uk. Many thanks Tina, these locomotives were considered by many to be the best looking of the large British Pacifics and by this time were most were turned out in Brunswick Green but about ten or so appeared in this stunning livery. I saw one once in this livery at Crewe and it truly was a magnificent sight to be seen.

Superb artwork Mike and congratulations on selling it. As for becoming a steam buff, my brother takes that crown in our family.
