Description
THIS PAINTING IS SOLD BUT YOU CAN COMMISSION ME TO PAINT A PORTRAIT OF YOUR FAVOURITE VEHICLE IN THIS STYLE JUST E-MAIL: mike@transportartist.co.uk
Hidden in the depths of my computer I found this image of a commission painted over twenty years ago of the iconic Austin-Healey Spite, the sports car that brought affordable open air motoring to a generation fifty years ago.
This is an example of what I call a portrait which is an affordable way you can own an original work of your favourite vehicle.

Thanks Anne, they were great little cars indeed. Donald Healey played a large part in the design for an inexpensive sports car for Austin to rival the MG which was of course an offshoot of Morris the other British car giant. When they merged to become BMC the policy was to keep the brand names by badge engineering so your '76 Midget was by then more Healey than MG in truth.

I had a '76 MG Midget with exactly this same color schematic. I understand an MG is not an Austin but these little motorcars are a hoot to drive! As always, your work is excellent Mike!
